It would be a very nice touch. Romantic without being... cheesy. It's too bad though that the apricots bloom in spring... A girlfriend of mine did have some lovely tree's at her wedding that were blooming in the fall. I'll see if I can find a picture of them.

Which reminds me, are you planning on having the reception out or inside?

Also, I found a place that talks about "grooms cakes" which are different from regular wedding cakes. I know, sorry. These are done usually to represent the interests of the groom(s).

So there is that option if you'd like a cake that looked like, say, a violin. Or something.

Now as far as cakes... I realise these may be a bit girly but, the industry runs to women.

Those are sugar orchids (okay I really like that flower alright?) on a green cake. Obviously. I think it looks not too girly.
