Ianto and Nikola, post vampire-prom

Ianto's staff room is slowly taking on the appearance of an actual home. He's brought over some favorite books and clothes and pictures, and his diary is on the desk.

He turns on the lights for Nikola and shuts the door. "I come here to sleep a lot. Best perk of the job, really."

Nikola rolls his eyes again. "I am so much more than clever."

"Clever and brilliant."

"Well, it's a start," Nikola says with a smirk.

"Clever and brilliant and hot."

Nikola laughs. "I'll take that."

"I knew I'd find the right combination." He kisses the base of Nikola's throat.

Nikola chuckles. "Yes, well...you're very bright."

Ianto chuckles. "Thank you."

People tend not to notice.

Nikola pretty much only likes him because he's bright.

"You're welcome."

Ianto smiles and lays his head on Nikola's chest.

Nikola settles in comfortably, curling an arm around Ianto.

"You can stay, if you want," Ianto mumbles.

"All right," Nikola murmurs, kissing his hair.

"I like the company."

[ps_you_look_hot]

Nikola chuckles. "I like the warmth."

Ianto pulls the duvet over them. "Does this help?"

[ps_you_look_hot]

"Mmm, yes. That's quite nice."

Ianto lays down again with his head on Nikola's chest.

Okay, he's a snuggler.

As long as he's with someone a) warm and b) whom he likes, Nikola's a bit of a snuggler as well. He gets comfortable under Ianto.

Ianto strokes Nikola's ribs lightly with his thumb. He's already well past drowsy and heading toward dozing. (He danced a lot at the party.)

Nikola lets himself drift into a drowsy sort of doze. He doesn't need to sleep, but sometimes it's pleasant to drift off with a warm weight against your chest.
