When you fall in love, you think kisses and hugs and sex and presents and jokes and laughing.

And that's all good.

But when things like this come up--the sorrow and the pain--that's the test, isn't it? Anybody can be happy in love. The trick, I think, is to be happy in love even when times are bad.


I hope I'm up to the task.
