my dream home

Via Shep.

Your home is a

Philanthropic Coder's Mansion

Your kitchen is someplace you never go, because you "have people for that." There's a Chocolatessen, which is rapidly becoming your favorite room of the house. Having one is also becoming a trend among your wealthy neighbors. Your master bedroom is the size of a small barn, with carpet thick enough to reach your ankles. Your study has every language reference book ever written, including now-useless titles like Learn Javascript 2.0! and C++ Programming for Windows 95. (Why are you keeping those?) One of your garages holds your collection of ferraris, and is measured in acreage.

Your home also includes a guest wing and private quarters for your servants. Your guests enjoy your collection of every console and associated game ever made. Except the Intellivision -- those controllers drive them NUTS. Outside is your hedge maze and gardens, meticulously tended by a team of world-class botanists.

Below is a snippet of the blueprints:

Find YOUR Dream Home!

I love the sulking corner in your grand ballroom.

And is that an x-wing in your garage?

[Private to Ianto]

I like the look of your library too.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-09-27 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)
No ball is complete without a roue' sulking in the corner that the hero is dancing with the heiress.

(And all because I admit to reading Jane Austen.)

It is! It's wonderfully random.

[Private to Lorne]

It's all the chocolate, right?

[identity profile] rockscientist.livejournal.com 2007-09-27 10:40 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm no expert, but doesn't the hero usually end up dumping the heiress in the end?

Geek.

[Private to Ianto]

The chandelier's nice too. I just hope it's also stocked with champagne. And that the Romance Library isn't meant for romance novels.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-09-27 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Not if the heiress is the heroine. Austen's heroines were only impoverished half the time: the others were solidly landed gentry.

[Private to Lorne]

Mm. Chocolate and champagne. I know what we should do next time we visit.

Oh? Shall I seduce you in a library sometime, love?

[identity profile] rockscientist.livejournal.com 2007-09-27 10:58 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll file that under "things I'd never know if not for Ianto."

[Private to Ianto]

Mmm...definitely.

I think that's one of those things I missed out on by going to the Academy. Making out in the stacks.

[ooc: Heading to class. Be back in a few hours.]

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-09-27 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm here to educate and inform.

[Private to Lorne]

Mm. Memories.

All right. That's also on the agenda for your next visit. Library smooching.

[ooc: Kay.]

Hm, yours is quite similar to mine...

[identity profile] hisdarklady.livejournal.com 2007-09-27 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
you have a salsa room. This makes me happy.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-09-28 12:00 am (UTC)(link)
I can't imagine you with a dog bigger than you are, though.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-09-28 12:01 am (UTC)(link)
Mmm, all that close hippy dancing . . .

[identity profile] hisdarklady.livejournal.com 2007-09-28 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
yeah, sounds like it would be nice.

[identity profile] rockscientist.livejournal.com 2007-09-28 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
And you do both very well.

[Private to Ianto]

Mmhm...

Excellent. You're corrupting me, you know.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-09-28 03:04 am (UTC)(link)
*preens*

[Private to Lorne]

How am I corrupting you? Doesn't the smell of old books excite you?

[identity profile] rockscientist.livejournal.com 2007-09-28 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
[Private to Ianto]

Well, it will now.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-09-28 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
[Private to Lorne]

I love you because you make me laugh, baby. *kisses*

[identity profile] rockscientist.livejournal.com 2007-09-28 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
[Private to Ianto]

I love you because making you laugh makes me happy. *kisses back*

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-09-28 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
[Private to Lorne]

I love that I make you happy. *kisses again*

By the way, I sent your latest package off earlier this week. It should reach soon soon, I hope. Now I'm wishing I'd included an old book or two.

[identity profile] rockscientist.livejournal.com 2007-09-28 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
[Private to Ianto]

There's always next time.

I should have yours off tomorrow.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-09-28 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
[Private to ]

I'll have to find some old books.

Hooray!

[identity profile] rockscientist.livejournal.com 2007-09-28 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
[Private to Ianto]

Mmm...old books.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-09-28 03:49 am (UTC)(link)
[Private to Lorne]

Smelling so musty and earthy . . .

[identity profile] rockscientist.livejournal.com 2007-09-28 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
[Private to Ianto]

I can hardly wait.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-09-28 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
[Private to Lorne]

I really want to press you against a bookshelf now.

[identity profile] rockscientist.livejournal.com 2007-09-28 04:03 am (UTC)(link)
[Private to Ianto]

Oh, god.

And what would you do with me then?

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-09-28 04:08 am (UTC)(link)
[Private to Lorne]

Oh. Mm.

I'd kiss you hard and run my hands up and down your chest.
