it's over now

Well.

That was . . .

Weird is too mild a word, don't you think?

I'm back to normal. Everything seems to be in working order. I remember everything.

The strangest part of it, I think, is how I remember it. Not like a slice of my life at twenty-six but like something that happened when I was five, something I remember from childhood even though I know it's impossible.

Did we ever hear what caused this? Is everybody else okay?

[ooc: This is your warning. This is all the warning you get.]

Yeah Q, you remember him right? he felt we all needed to regress to learn some things.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-10-14 10:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I think we had a brief chat at some point.

. . . learn what? That being a child is just as hard being an adult? I knew that.

[identity profile] hisdarklady.livejournal.com 2007-10-14 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not too sure what he exactly was aiming at. Public lynching maybe.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-10-14 10:46 pm (UTC)(link)
It's probably a good thing none of us know where he is, then.

[identity profile] hisdarklady.livejournal.com 2007-10-14 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Probably.

Though, for a little bit... it wa fun. When I was riding the ponies-- horses.

What did you get up to? Ianto Jones? *grins*

It was a very surreal experience, wasn't it?

Did you...like the experience, or not so much? For me, it was something I could have lived without, to be honest. But, I think there was some good that came out of it, if I was going to be fair.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-10-14 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, to be honest, I had a lot of fun once we figured out a translation device and I could talk to people.

What sort of good did you find in it?

[identity profile] chigong-master.livejournal.com 2007-10-15 04:22 pm (UTC)(link)
I can only imagine how frustrating, and frightening, it would be to not be able to communicate with anyone - especially at the age of five! But, I'm glad to hear you had fun with it. Did you keep your adult memories, too?

**small smile** Well, I learned a lot about myself and how (some of) my friends see me. I was able to explain a few things to Sanzo as a child that I'd never been able to as an adult, so that's probably a good thing. It also gave me a chance to remember what I had been like as a child - truly remember - and not have the memories distorted and clouded by time. **grins** As I said, very surreal.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-10-16 06:04 pm (UTC)(link)
No, my adult memories were pretty much gone. Though I figured out rather quickly I could trust Jack and Owen, so maybe something lingered.

[identity profile] chigong-master.livejournal.com 2007-10-16 10:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm... That would have been an interesting experience to not have any memories of your adult self. I had my adult memories, and I'm not sure if that made it better or worse...

Interesting...or maybe you have always had a good sense of intuition?

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-10-16 10:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Perhaps I did. Of course, at that point of my life I didn't know many people outside of my family and my immediate neighborhood, so I wasn't accustomed to mistrusting people.

(Yes, I had a very sheltered childhood. I'm aware of this.)

[identity profile] chigong-master.livejournal.com 2007-10-16 10:32 pm (UTC)(link)
**smiles** I bet you were a cute kid, though...and if you were inherently trusting, probably not too shy, ne?

[identity profile] rockscientist.livejournal.com 2007-10-14 10:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Good to see you back to normal again.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-10-14 11:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks. It's good to see you, too.

[Private to Lorne]

And your tongue.

[identity profile] rockscientist.livejournal.com 2007-10-14 11:13 pm (UTC)(link)
[Private to Ianto]

My tongue is very glad to see you too.

And I'm very glad to see you laughing.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-10-14 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
[Private to Lorne]

I've missed your tongue.

I'm laughing a lot today, really. Sheer amazement at the weirdness that is my life, perhaps.

[identity profile] rockscientist.livejournal.com 2007-10-14 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
[Private to Ianto]

Have you, babe? I've missed your tongue too.

I know what you mean. I thought my life was crazy enough without adding in all the weird shit that's not related to work.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-10-14 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
[Private to Lorne]

Oh, I have.

But did you have fun? I actually had fun most of the time.

[identity profile] rockscientist.livejournal.com 2007-10-14 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
[Private to Ianto]

Yeah, it was all right. There's really not a whole lot to do out here for kids though. And it's not like we can just run out to the store and pick up some games or something.

But I ate a lot of sugar and Heightmeyer gave me some finger paints. I don't think my quarters will ever be the same again.

[identity profile] chefpiper.livejournal.com 2007-10-15 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
That was definitely an experience I could have lived without. Glad it's finally over and everyone's back to normal.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-10-15 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sorry it wasn't enjoyable for you.

[identity profile] sparkingfreak.livejournal.com 2007-10-15 01:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Glad you're back to normal gorgeous. As I learned to much horror, kids and coffee don't mix- would not wish years of coffee lackage on you! The whole thing kinda sucked though... never want to repeat it again. Planning on finding a way to lynch Q if it's at all possible....

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-10-16 06:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Thank you.

Oh god no, coffee should be kept away from kids. It can cause brain damage if they have too much caffeine--it's the over-stimulation.

I didn't think it sucked, though. I had fun.
