You are The Emperor
Stability, power, protection, realization; a great person.
The Emperor is the great authority figure of the Tarot, so it represents
fathers, father-figures and employers. There is a lot of aggression and violence
too.
The Emperor naturally follows the Empress. Like an infant, he is filled with enthuiasm, energy, aggression. He is direct, guileless and all too often irresistible. Unfortunately, like a baby he can also be a tyrant. Impatient, demanding, controlling. In the best of circumstances, he signifies the leader that everyone wants to follow, sitting on a throne that indicates the solid foundation of an Empire he created, loves and rules with intelligence and enthusiasm. But that throne can also be a trap, a responsibility that has the Emperor feeling restless, bored and discontent.
What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.
I . . . have nothing to add. Not even another quiz.

I guess I'll find out when the application gets here. From the sound of it it's pretty intensive.
My job title at Torchwood 1 was second archivist. I suppose that will help. The background, the degree, the OTC . . . I feel a bit like I was preparing for this without even knowing. I hope it's enough.

I can imagine it would be. I was sort of grandfathered in from the SGC, but I've had a glimpse of the civilian applications before, and they look pretty daunting.
Well, start with the application, and if you run into any snags, we can deal with them as they come.

All right. I'm so glad I have an in ;).
I suspect I'm one of the few civilians to seek out the project rather than be recruited. I hope that won't be a problem during all this.

It might be an asset. It shows how resourceful you are.
no subject
Or how nosy.
Oh boy. I keep thinking of everything that could go wrong.
no subject
Well, how much did you say you know about it?
Whatever happens, babe, we'll figure it out. If something goes wrong, we'll fix it.

I admitted a lot more to the brigadier than I did to Mr. Woolsey. I told Mr. Woolsey that I had a friend on a specialized assignment that he thought I would suit.
But if anyone asks directly I'll have to tell them I know about more. I don't want to lie.
no subject
That's probably wise. I doubt they'll ask directly, but you will have to sign an NDA.
no subject
That's fine. I'm sure I can handle that.
no subject
I hope so. It's pretty standard.

I've done rather well here, don't you think? Despite wanting to tell everybody I'M FUCKING LORNE AND HE'S SO FUCKING HOT!!!111!1!11 as often as possible.

*cracks up*
You've done incredibly well. You're very good at keeping secrets.
