Passing time while I wait to leave for the airport . . .
1. What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?
A great many things, both with work and personal. The least classified is that I went to the US for the first time.
2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any resolutions last year, and I doubt I will this year, either.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes, my sister-in-law Ellie to my nephew Rhodri.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes.
5. What countries did you visit?
The US. I saw Tennessee and Colorado.
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
I'd like to have something I don't expect to get this year.
7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory?
June 5, July 27, July 23, December 13, November 27, July 17, May 20.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting through it.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Failing the people I love. Failing the Captain.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes. I had my very first concussion.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
A plane ticket from Cardiff to Memphis.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
I think we all had some sterling moments this year, really. I'm proud of my coworkers in particular. They're good people.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
I was disappointed by Mr. Saxon.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent and mailing packages. And clothes. I spend a lot on clothes.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
An opportunity I thought I had.

I can't think of a thing.

Yes.

Who has time to read? I reread a lot of things this year, comfort literature.

Roger Clyne.

Someone to love.

An adventure.

I didn't see any movies this year, I don't think.

I turned 26, and I went to work.

Getting that adventure.

Businesslike. I like to look my best.

Lorne. My friends.

Oh . . . Gabriel Byrne just gets better with age, doesn't he?

There really wasn't one. It's hard to think about politics in the scheme of things, really.

Love can't actually conquer all...but it's still worthwhile.
