St. Patrick's Day as a holiday of drunken debauchery is really more of an American practice, so I will not regale anyone with tales of green beer and céilí.

As much fun as a céilí would be, really.

*grins* I'll bite. What's a ceili?

It's a party in a way only the Irish are capable of doing. Lots of drink and dancing and noise.

If you want to go to a ceili, babe, I'm sure we can find one somewhere.

I think we'd have to go all the way to Dublin to find one, and that's a long drive for an evening.

I'll just pick up some Guinness on the way home, how does that sound?

That'll be just fine. Some Jameson's too, maybe?

Thank you, baby.
