Gwen's gotta realize at some point that not everything gets a happy ever after. I'd thought she'd have learned that one already; she's been around long enough.

I suspect Jack will let it go when something shiny and new grabs his attention. And even though I'd have taken Jack's side once upon a time (simply because I know how Gwen can be), you probably did the right thing.
