Ianto & John, birthday sex

Sex with Constantine is never bad--it's often good, sometimes great, sometimes overwhelming.

John has outdone himself tonight, bringing Ianto to the edge over and over before finally letting him over, and it's some time before Ianto can do more than brush his fingers over John's back, before he can even think.

When he does, it's I can't lose this.

Mmm, I'll bite.

1) What's your favourite thing about where you live?

2) If you had to live elsewhere, where would you choose?

3) What one thing could you not live without?

4) Who was your first idol as a child?

5) Other than English, what languages do you speak?

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-04-03 06:36 pm (UTC)(link)
1) That's easy: it's home. It's where I've lived for most of my life and where I expect to live for the rest of it.

2) London. I lived there for a few years after university and enjoyed it very much. There are some painful memories, but I can deal with them.

3) Coffee.

4) My oldest brother Griffen. Everybody loved him: he was handsome and friendly, atheletic, intelligent--a bit of a jack-the-lad, but of course I didn't see that until I was a teenager myself. When I was a child, though, it seemed to me Griff had life figured out in ways I never would.

5) Welsh and Japanese.

[identity profile] legofortress.livejournal.com 2007-04-03 06:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Interesting; thank you for answering. I tried not to pry into any classified areas...

I must post this later tonight myself...

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-04-03 06:49 pm (UTC)(link)
You're welcome. I'll try to think of some good questions for you.

[identity profile] gun-youdown.livejournal.com 2007-04-03 06:38 pm (UTC)(link)
1. What is your favourite pass time?

2. Recommend one song to me.

3. And a movie~

4. Where is your favourite place to go on vacation?

5. Queer, bi, or straight? 'Cos you're totally not on my gaydar.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-04-03 06:52 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Reading, though running comes a close second.

2) "Many Rivers to Cross" by Peter Tosh

3) Stranger Than Fiction

4) Sardinia

5) Bi. I don't ping many people's gaydars.

[identity profile] rockscientist.livejournal.com 2007-04-03 06:55 pm (UTC)(link)
1. What did you want to be when you grew up?

2. What is your favorite brand of underwear?

3. If you had to live somewhere outside the UK, where would it be? Why?

4. What book would you read over and over again? Why?

5. What trait in yourself would you like to cultivate? Why?

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-04-03 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
1) When I was three I announced to my parents I was going to be a dolphin when I grew up. Then for a while I wanted to be a policeman.

2) Calvin Klein.

3) I have daydreams about living in the Meditteranean sometimes. Greece or southern Italy, or perhaps north Africa if I were feeling really adventurous. I don't quite know why: I don't like the sun particularly. Perhaps I just crave the change.

4) The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco. It's a mystery on the surface but it's more about the medeval mindset (particularly in a religious setting), and it fascinates me to read something about people who just think differently.

5) I feel at times I should be more outgoing. I'm not sure how one accomplishes this, however.

[identity profile] love-the-chase.livejournal.com 2007-04-04 03:32 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm.

1. Does your name mean anything?
2. Who was your first crush?
3. Best friend?
4. Your best memory?
5. Your worst memory?

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-04-04 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
1) It's a nickname for Ifan, which is a Welsh version of John. (John means "God is gracious," I think.)
2) Hm . . . probably when I was eight or so, a boy in my class called Graham.
3) First best friend? My cousin Mary Alice. We were very close while I was growing up.
4) Right now . . . just the way everyone said good morning to me today. It was very nice.
5) I can't go into more detail, but the death of my girlfriend is pretty much the worst thing that's happened to me.

[identity profile] love-the-chase.livejournal.com 2007-04-04 12:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, heh, I just meant best friend but that was all right. :)

Ah. Death of a loved one is always horrible. :( I'm sorry about that.

Hmm. Are you religious? Just wondering.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-04-04 04:42 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sorry about that. Thank you.

Are you religious? No, not particularly. I'm a Christmas-and-Easter church attendee, at most, though I appreciate the Bible from a literary/cultural standpoint.

Best friend . . . probably my colleague T.

[identity profile] love-the-chase.livejournal.com 2007-04-04 04:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah. A lot of people seem to be like that these days.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-04-04 04:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Religion doesn't apply much to modern life, I've found.

[identity profile] love-the-chase.livejournal.com 2007-04-04 07:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah.

[identity profile] nakedintruth.livejournal.com 2007-04-04 06:26 am (UTC)(link)
1. Favorite poem?
2. Guiltiest pleasure?
3. Least favorite thing about your life?
4. One thing you'd save if you had to give up everything else?
5. And one thing you never thought you'd admit to anyone.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-04-04 04:52 pm (UTC)(link)
1) I knew a woman, lovely in her bones,
When small birds sighed, she would sigh back at them;
Ah, when she moved, she moved more ways than one:
The shapes a bright container can contain!
Of her choice virtues only gods should speak,
Or English poets who grew up on Greek
(I'd have them sing in chorus, cheek to cheek.)

How well her wishes went! She stroked my chin,
She taught me Turn, and Counter-turn, and stand;
She taught me Touch, that undulant white skin:
I nibbled meekly from her proffered hand;
She was the sickle; I, poor I, the rake,
Coming behind her for her pretty sake
(But what prodigious mowing did we make.)

Love likes a gander, and adores a goose:
Her full lips pursed, the errant note to seize;
She played it quick, she played it light and loose;
My eyes, they dazzled at her flowing knees;
Her several parts could keep a pure repose,
Or one hip quiver with a mobile nose
(She moved in circles, and those circles moved.)

Let seed be grass, and grass turn into hay:
I'm martyr to a motion not my own;
What's freedom for? To know eternity.
I swear she cast a shadow white as stone.
But who would count eternity in days?
These old bones live to learn her wanton ways:
(I measure time by how a body sways.)

--Theodore Roethke

You ask very hard questions, you know. I'll have to answer the others once I've thought about them.

[ooc: This entry is for a different game than [livejournal.com profile] greetings_from: I use the same journal for a couple different games. So you're probably seeing a bunch of characters & journals you don't recognize.]

[identity profile] nakedintruth.livejournal.com 2007-04-04 05:52 pm (UTC)(link)
*delighted smile*

That's beautiful.

(ooc: ...eep? I actually didn't mean to, but she just... apparently cannot resist the chance to ask pretty young men embarrassing questions. apologies for any major breach in etiquette, and I'll be over here facepalming.)

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-04-04 05:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not a huge fan of modern poets but Roethke has some beautiful works.

[ooc: I don't mind :). It's probably against the rules somewhere but I'm not going to call the RP police.]

2) I admit to occasionally listening to boy bands.
3) The lack of social life.
4) The Captain.
5) I once loved someone who tried to kill me.

[identity profile] frank-chambers.livejournal.com 2007-04-07 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
1. What's your favorite color and why?

2. Where do you work again? (I forgot, sorry)

3. Would you be willing to die for your captain?

4. Would you be willing to get your whole body shaved and painted on with lipstick and then sent out on the street for two hours for your captain?

5. Do you think he'd do the same for you (and his other men)?

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-04-08 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
1) Blue, because it's soothing.
2) I work in Cardiff. *smile*
3) Yes.
4) Would I also be naked? That's the dealbreaker.
5) I think he already shaves everywhere, and he doesn't need lipstick. By "other men" do you mean the rest of the team, or his other men?

Jack? Care to confirm or deny?

[identity profile] frank-chambers.livejournal.com 2007-04-08 01:31 pm (UTC)(link)
I meant what kind of job do you have, because I know you got a captain but I was wondering if you're in some sort or army or police department or whatever it is you guys have over in Cardiff...

Of course, naked. What's the point in lipstick of people can't see it? So, you'd die for him but not get naked for him? Interesting...

Should I even ask how come you know that he shaves everywhere? And, I meant the team, but feel free to tell me about the 'other men', as well.

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-04-08 03:10 pm (UTC)(link)
The job is classified.

I think most people are willing to get naked for someone, just not in public.

I think the captain would do whatever's necessary for his team, and I know nothing about his other men. I just assume there are some.

[identity profile] boston-bad-girl.livejournal.com 2007-04-07 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
1. How old are you? I don't think that I remember.

2. I've read that you had a gf and I'be read that you consider yourself to be bi. So, have you ever had a boyfriend, so far?

3. Who do you personally think is the best looking member on TIC?

4. What exactly makes them so good looking?

5. Would you go on a date with that person if they asked you?

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-04-08 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
1) I just turned 26 last week.
2) I dated a bloke named Daffyd when I was a teenager. Of course, we called it "being best friends."
3) Hm. Well. Because he's the only one that I'm sure of what he looks like, [livejournal.com profile] lovethisplanet.
4) I can't answer this question objectively.
5) I prefer not to answer that.

[Private to Faith]
4) Perfect facial structure, amazing blue eyes, tall and muscular body, and confidence to spare. You'd have to be made of stone or utterly not into men not to fancy him.

5) Yes. In a heartbeat.

[identity profile] boston-bad-girl.livejournal.com 2007-04-08 01:36 pm (UTC)(link)
5. See that, Captain Jack? Guess that means you gotta ask him out so we'll get an answer!

[Private to Ianto]

Tell me if he does!

[identity profile] morethanteaboy.livejournal.com 2007-04-08 03:12 pm (UTC)(link)
[Private to Faith]
I honestly don't think the Captain is the dating type.

[identity profile] bloody-awful.livejournal.com 2008-08-22 01:09 am (UTC)(link)
John rolls over onto his back and lights a cigarette, as if on autopilot. He feels Ianto's fingers skate over his back, but says nothing.

[identity profile] bloody-awful.livejournal.com 2008-08-22 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
John smiles almost in spite of himself. "You know these things will kill you," he says as he passes it over.

[identity profile] bloody-awful.livejournal.com 2008-08-22 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
"So does everyone, in the long run. Beats the alternative." He takes the cigarette back and has a drag. "I think I've stopped aging, me. Hard to tell."

[identity profile] bloody-awful.livejournal.com 2008-08-22 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
John shrugs. "Hard to tell one year's difference, at my age. If I've not been knocked on the head in twenty years, that's when I'll know."

[identity profile] bloody-awful.livejournal.com 2008-08-22 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
John listens to that, and closes his eyes, and takes a deep breath.

When he opens them, he says, "Sometimes I forget how young you really are. It's not your job to make me happy, or heal me or any of that shite. The only person who can do that for me is me." He rolls over onto his side and looks at Ianto. "And the only person who can do that for you is you. But, for what it's worth..." he looks away, and grimaces, takes another deep breath and looks back. "These past few weeks, I haven't been this happy in years."

[identity profile] bloody-awful.livejournal.com 2008-08-22 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
John rolls his eyes and scoots up to sit next to Ianto against the headboard. "I've been grinning like an idiot and acting like a sodding fifteen year old. Went back to the Smoke to move some of the more volatile bits from my room here to my lock-up back home, and Chas -- friend of mine -- kept asking me what's her name and what kind of drugs she's feeding me." John winks. "I told him she's a 23 year old lad and suddenly Chas decides my private life is private."

[identity profile] bloody-awful.livejournal.com 2008-08-22 02:03 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm always okay," John shrugs, "and whether you're okay is up to you. Always has been, always will be." He pauses, and when he speaks again, it's as if he's making a deliberate decision. "I'm just ... it's been ..."

He rolls his eyes again, and moves to sit on the edge of the bed, his feet on the floor and his back to Ianto. He leans his elbows on his knees and smokes his cigarette down. "Haven't been on the pull for a few weeks, me. Not that it's anything on you. My choice, not your problem."

Still acting like a sodding 15 year old, yup.

[identity profile] bloody-awful.livejournal.com 2008-08-22 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
John looks back over his shoulder at Ianto, and the eyebrow goes up. He looks as if he's going to say something, and then clamps his mouth shut on it.

Then he says something else. "You still have a choice to make about that pretty, pretty boss of yours, bright eyes. But that's your choice to make and I'll keep my nose out of it, as long as he doesn't push my nose into it. If that happens," he adds pointedly, "someone's nose will end up broken."

[identity profile] bloody-awful.livejournal.com 2008-08-22 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
John considers this, and nods.

"Anyone else so much as breathes on you and I'm turning them into a frog. I can do that, you know," he says, deadpan.

Then he grins and lies back on the bed, sharing Ianto's pillow. Whatever was closed behind his eyes is wide, wide open.
