As Ianto predicted, no one notices when the tall man steps out of a coffee shop with a tiny pregnant woman on his arm.

Teyla may notice the cold, though.

"My car's not far," Ianto says.

"Have you seen it create food out of nothing?" He licks sugar from his thumb. "Good food?"

Teyla thinks for a moment, finishing her cake. "No, I have not. But I have seen it create other things out of what seemed to be nothing."

"See, it's the nothing part that throws me. The Bar must have amazingly huge stores, or the capability to pull matter from the universe and, like, organize it into something new. Yeah?"

"Why would she not have large stores? I lived there for several months, and I do not believe I saw even the half of what exists there."

"I haven't explored any," Ianto admits. "Maybe sometime I should."

"I did not explore much. But I know there is much more to the bar than you see at first glance."

"Bigger on the inside," Ianto murmurs and frowns, wondering if Time Lord Technology had something to do with Milliways.

"Perhaps," Teyla says, thinking about this. "I had not thought of it that way before."

"From the outside it looks just like an ordinary pub. But on the inside, there are all the rooms and passages and storeys."

"That is true." She grins. "Rodney would be fascinated by it."

"And that's Dr. McKay, right?"

"Yes. He would want to search for the source of bar's technology and take it apart to see what made it work."

"I suspect he'd be thwarted."

"No doubt he would. And be unbearable for days after." Despite her words, she has a fond smile on her face when she speaks about Rodney, as she would about any of her team.

Ianto smiles--Tosh would love McKay, he suspects.

He eats the last bite of his cake. "What's the next step?"

[ooc: Bedtime for me, though.]

"That is it," Teyla says. "There is nothing left to do but clean up."

[ooc: Goodnight.]

Ianto's face does a little "well, of course," grimace and he gathers up everything and takes it into the kitchen to wash.

Teyla hauls herself up off the floor and follows him. "I am allowed to assist with this part," she says, smiling.

He starts to give her a tea towel to tie around her waist, but her waist is somewhat larger than the towel.

And all his aprons are at the Hub. Oh, dilemmas.

Teyla just laughs. "I do not mind getting dirty."

She could hardly do her job well if she did.

"I was worried more about damp than dirty," he says, throwing his tie over his shoulder, and finds a somewhat larger dishtowel in one of the drawers. "This should do."

"Thank you," Teyla says primly, and ties the towel around her waist.

He runs the water and squirts in some dish soap. "I don't eat at home often."

"Your work is very time-consuming, I would imagine."

Ianto nods as he rolls up his sleeves. "Very much. I have to come to the bar if I want a good night's sleep."
