I'm sorry I was an arse yesterday. I do get a little jealous sometimes--or more realistically, envious, because they get to spend time with you and I don't. And all this happening here--it's shaping up to be much more than it initially appeared, and we're all under some stress. That's no excuse, of course.

When things are back to normal you and I can have a good long talk, I hope.

Well they do say that for some people the privacy of the internet (in that you are not actually seeing your correspondents) makes it quite a bit easier for some people to let go of limitations or walls they have placed on themselves in normal, everyday society.

I think privacy on the internet is more of an illusion than an actuality; it's more the anonymity, really, the ability to put on a persona.

Repressed? No, I wouldn't say that. I did say I don't flirt "much" offline, not that I don't flirt at all.

Anonymity was the word I was looking for. Privacy was what popped in my head. Privacy... is not really existent but the anonymity can at least be held on to for a bit.
