You are The Emperor
Stability, power, protection, realization; a great person.
The Emperor is the great authority figure of the Tarot, so it represents
fathers, father-figures and employers. There is a lot of aggression and violence
too.
The Emperor naturally follows the Empress. Like an infant, he is filled with enthuiasm, energy, aggression. He is direct, guileless and all too often irresistible. Unfortunately, like a baby he can also be a tyrant. Impatient, demanding, controlling. In the best of circumstances, he signifies the leader that everyone wants to follow, sitting on a throne that indicates the solid foundation of an Empire he created, loves and rules with intelligence and enthusiasm. But that throne can also be a trap, a responsibility that has the Emperor feeling restless, bored and discontent.
What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.
I . . . have nothing to add. Not even another quiz.

All right. I'll stop worrying about that.
. . . I'll try to stop worrying about that, anyway.
no subject
I suppose that will have to do.
I'm not going to resign my commission until I'm sure they'll let me stay. Does that ease your fears any?
no subject
Well. It sets aside one set of worries. If they won't let you stay and you decide not to resign, what happens then? We sneak around after all?
no subject
I don't know. I'm just feeling my way here.
no subject
I don't want to cost you your job and your home.
I know you say I'm worth it, but. Well, I don't know what more to say.
no subject
Would that--sneaking around, I mean--would it be a deal-breaker for you? If that's what it came down to?
no subject
No. It wouldn't be a deal-breaker. I don't know what a deal-breaker for us would be, frankly.
I just don't want you to resent me for taking you away from Atlantis. I don't want there to be "You cost me the only place I ever felt was home" to be the final word in our arguments.
no subject
I don't want that either.
And Atlantis is the only place I've ever felt was home anymore. Your flat felt like home too.
no subject
Oh, love. And I want you home with me so much.
I worry about what it'll cost us. What it'll cost you and if the price will be too high.
I just want to make you happy and I worry that this has only made things more complicated.
no subject
You do make me happy, Ianto. You make me so happy.
And yes, it's complicated, but love always complicates things.
no subject
I'm glad. I'm so glad. (Not so much for the complications but that I make you happy.)
You make me happy too, my love.
no subject
I'm glad for that too.
Am I not telling you often enough? You always make me happy, babe. I love you, and you make my life better for being in it.
no subject
I'm greedy--I want to hear it all the time until I can see it for myself.
I feel so ineloquent when I try to tell you--all I can say is that I love you.
no subject
I'll try to remember to tell you every day.
That's all I need to hear. That you love me and you want me and I make you happy.
no subject
When we're together you won't need to tell me. I'll be able to see it.
I love you. I want you. You make me happy.
no subject
Then I'll tell you every day until then.
Thank you, darling.
no subject
You're welcome, sweetheart.
Don't forget your umbrella.
no subject
Cheese sandwiches.
no subject
Jack said today he can tell when I'm thinking about you. I was rather surprised at that. But I suppose it's obvious sometimes, that I'm with you even when I'm standing in the hub.
no subject
God, darling, that's...that makes me smile to think of.
no subject
Good. It makes me smile too.
no subject
You know, today, I was going over some mission reports, and I started thinking about you being here. And I thought that, if you were here, I could just call you up on the radio and make up some excuse to get you to my office, and you could just come and sit on my lap for a while. Not fucking, not even snogging, just...being there.
no subject
I wonder if they'd give us a partner desk. Probably not, but we'd get more accomplished if they did. I mean, I'm dexterous but even I can't work when sitting on someone's knee.
no subject
I don't expect you to be there all the time. Just every once in a while. It'd be a nice way to take a break, you know?
And I suspect that whatever you end up doing, you'll be off in a lab somewhere.
no subject
Those first few weeks are going to be a bit rough, I suspect--I'm going to want to run off to see you all the time.
A lab sounds okay, though.
