(no subject)

Lorne and I are in Aberdare today, for my nephew Rhodri's first birthday. As I thought, Lorne with the baby is the cutest thing ever. I'm also pleased that he gets on so well with Euan, and since he's met the rest of the family already (except for Macsen, but I doubt we'll see him before the wedding anyway) it's not horribly overwhelming to be around them like this. The girls have claimed him as their plaything, of course, and want to hear all about their new cousins in America and the pretty dresses they'll get to wear at the wedding.

(Also, Dad took measurements for Lorne's dinner jacket and shirt. I can't wait to see my baby in his full dress kilt.)

I am incredibly happy today.

Time to watch Rhodri smear cake all over his face.
